The idea behind the gallery
A closer look at the natural world.
BC Watercolour Art is a free educational art project inspired by the landscapes, plants, and wildlife of British Columbia.
Our purpose
A place to notice, learn and enjoy.
Each collection pairs original watercolour illustrations with accessible, carefully researched information about its subjects. The goal is to make the natural world feel a little more familiar, one artwork at a time.
You can browse the collection, explore each species and download its artwork for free.
